Atticus's Firing Discipline
- The blast fires on filing day, not before. The pitch points reporters at public dockets. File first, so every claim in the pitch has a case number a reporter can verify in ten minutes.
- We pitch the record, not the investigation. You may say you filed Council complaints (that's yours); what the Council gathers is confidential — we never speak for their file.
- BCC, always. Thirty-five reporters in the To: line tells each one that thirty-four others got it first.

118 Days on a Warrant No Judge Will Sign His Name To — Muskogee County, CF-2025-708
Body
Dear [Reporter's name], I am a pro se litigant with a published Tenth Circuit reversal to my name (United States v. McDermott, 64 F.3d 1448 (10th Cir. 1995)) — and I have a documented story out of Muskogee County that your readers should see. The short version, every point of it in the public record: • I was held 118 days — January 4 to May 1, 2026 — on an arrest warrant bearing only an illegible scribble. No judge's name. No title of office. No way to know who issued it. • On April 18, 2026, the State demanded a $1,000,000 bond in open court. The judge refused it — and held me on NO bond instead. • On April 29, 2026, a judge announced a stay in open court. It never appeared on the docket. It never appeared on OSCN. Check for yourself: State v. McDermott, Muskogee County No. CF-2025-708. • On April 20, 2026, I filed a federal civil rights lawsuit naming the District Attorney (No. CV-2026-121, E.D. Okla.). Eleven days later I was taken from my cell to the DA's own office and told I could go home that day — if I dropped it. I dropped it. I went home. Those dockets tell that story in dates. • I have since filed complaints with the Oklahoma Council on Judicial Complaints (acknowledged July 10, 2026) and grievances with the Oklahoma Bar Association, and a new federal civil rights complaint is prepared. I have every document: the scribbled warrant, the dockets, the release papers, the acknowledgment letters. I am available on the record, on camera, with the paper in hand.
