He hosts the town's writers, judges and professors at the Mansion every month — library first, supper second, koi pond last. Dress code enforced: jackets on gentlemen, manners on everyone. Nothing at the McSkunkner Mansion has ever needed a curtain drawn over it, and nothing ever will.
