The Unexplained Files of McSkunkville · Classified-ish
THE HAZE.
The lights over the courthouse. The glyph in the pyramid. The base that isn't there. The town neither confirms nor denies any of it. The town teaches you the one spell that always works: request the record.

2 AM · 1170 On Your Dial · The Night Signal
He takes calls
from the haze.
Gray muzzle, old cardigan, forty years behind the golden microphone. The Night Signal never laughs at a caller and never believes one either. His sign-off, every night since anyone can remember: "Don't take my word for it, friend. File the request. Goodnight, McSkunkville."

The whole town stood in the street together, every feud suspended. The aurora doesn't care who sued whom. Some evidence just is.
